Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a small baking dish or loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, almond flour, finely diced yellow onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.
Mix the ingredients by hand until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Shape the mixture into a uniform loaf and place it in the center of the prepared baking dish.
Lay the bacon slices across the top of the loaf, slightly overlapping them and tucking the ends underneath.
Brush 1 tablespoon of the sugar-free BBQ sauce over the top of the bacon-wrapped loaf.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
Remove from the oven, brush the remaining 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce over the top, and return to the oven for another 5 to 10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 minutes before slicing to ensure it stays juicy.
