5. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and toss the spears with the remaining 1 teaspoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
6. Place the salmon on the grill skin-side down and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
7. Carefully flip the salmon and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
8. Grill the asparagus alongside the salmon for 5 to 6 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and slightly charred.
9. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
