PREPARATION
Season the cooked chicken breast slices evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
Lay one slice of sourdough bread on a clean work surface and layer it with the seasoned chicken, fresh mozzarella slices, tomato, and basil leaves.
Place the second slice of sourdough on top to close the sandwich.
Preheat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat and lightly brush the outside of the bread with the extra virgin olive oil.
