Sweet BBQ Glazed Baby Back Ribs
Slow-roasted baby back ribs brushed with a sticky date-sweetened glaze and served with crisp-tender green beans.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Baby back ribs
1 tsp Smoked paprika
0.5 tsp Garlic powder
0.5 tsp Onion powder
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Date-sweetened BBQ sauce
1 cup Green beans
1 tsp Apple cider vinegar
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the baby back ribs dry with a paper towel and remove the thin membrane from the back of the rack if present.
In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
Coat the ribs thoroughly on both sides with the spice rub, pressing it firmly into the meat.
Wrap the ribs tightly in a double layer of aluminum foil to seal in the moisture and bake for 2 to 2.5 hours until very tender.
Remove from the oven, carefully open the foil, and brush the top of the ribs generously with the date-sweetened BBQ sauce.
Broil the ribs for 3 to 5 minutes until the glaze is bubbling and beautifully caramelized.
Steam the green beans until bright green and tender, then toss with apple cider vinegar and serve alongside the ribs.
