Place the salmon on the grill skin-side down and cook for approximately 4 to 5 minutes.
Add the asparagus to the grill grates alongside the salmon.
Flip the salmon carefully and continue grilling for another 3 to 4 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Grill the asparagus for a total of 5 to 6 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and show light char marks.
Remove from the heat and serve the salmon immediately with the grilled asparagus on the side.
