Mozzarella Stick Beef Burger with Marinara
Pan-seared grass-fed beef patty topped with crispy air-fried mozzarella sticks and rich marinara, wrapped in fresh butter lettuce for a satisfyingly gooey crunch.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Ground beef (93% lean)
2 whole Part-skim mozzarella string cheese
2 tbsp Almond flour
0.25 tsp Dried oregano
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
2 tbsp Marinara sauce (no sugar added)
2 large Butter lettuce leaves
1 second spray spray Olive oil spray
PREPARATION
Cut the mozzarella sticks in half and lightly coat them with a mixture of almond flour, dried oregano, and garlic powder.
Lightly mist the cheese sticks with olive oil spray and air fry at 400°F for 4-5 minutes until the coating is golden and the cheese is soft.
Season the ground beef with sea salt and black pepper, then form into a thick, uniform patty.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef patty for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked to your desired doneness.
While the beef rests, warm the marinara sauce in a small saucepan or microwave until heated through.
Place the beef patty onto the butter lettuce leaves, top with the crispy mozzarella sticks, and drizzle with the warm marinara sauce before serving.
