PREPARATION
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente.
Reserve 0.25 cup of the starchy pasta water before draining the noodles.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced shallot and garlic until fragrant.
Stir in the Calabrian chili paste, then add the shrimp, seasoning them with sea salt and black pepper.
Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Add the cooked linguine and reserved pasta water to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat the noodles in the spicy sauce.
