Shape the mixture into a compact loaf and place it in the center of the prepared baking dish.
Lay the bacon slices over the top of the meatloaf, overlapping slightly and tucking the ends underneath the loaf.
Brush 1 tablespoon of the sugar-free BBQ sauce evenly over the bacon-wrapped exterior.
Bake for 30 minutes, then remove from the oven and brush with the remaining 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce.
Return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the bacon is crisp.
Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 minutes before slicing to ensure it stays juicy.
