Sautéed flank steak and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-sesame glaze for a vibrant and nutrient-dense meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Flank steak
1.5 cups Broccoli florets
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 cup Cooked brown rice
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and season with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the beef to the skillet and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes, then remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and a splash of water, covering for 2 minutes to steam-soften.
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
Return the beef to the pan and pour in the coconut aminos, tossing everything to coat evenly.
Serve the stir-fry over the warm brown rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
