Seared Salmon with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared wild salmon served over brown rice with snappy garlic-infused green beans.
INGREDIENTS
7 ounces Wild Sockeye Salmon
0.5 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 cup Fresh Green Beans
1 teaspoon Avocado Oil
1 clove Garlic
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season both sides with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the avocado oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until the oil is shimmering.
Place the salmon in the pan and sear for 4 to 5 minutes until the edges are golden and crisp.
Flip the fillet and continue cooking for another 3 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
Steam the green beans in a small amount of water for 3 minutes until tender-crisp.
Drain the beans and quickly sauté them in the same skillet with minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
Plate the seared salmon over the warm brown rice and serve alongside the snappy garlic green beans.
