0.25 tsp black pepper
PREPARATION
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with half of the sesame oil.
Season the diced chicken breast with sea salt and black pepper, then sear until golden and cooked through before removing from the pan.
Add the remaining sesame oil to the pan and sauté the diced carrots, grated ginger, and minced garlic until the vegetables are tender-crisp and aromatic.
Push the vegetable mixture to the side of the pan, crack the egg into the open space, and scramble until fully set.
Stir in the cooked jasmine rice, frozen peas, and the cooked chicken, using a spatula to break up any clumps of rice.
Pour the tamari over the mixture and toss everything together for 2 to 3 minutes until the rice is heated through and slightly toasted.
