Sesame Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed flank steak strips and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory, umami-rich sesame glaze for a vibrant and nourishing meal.
INGREDIENTS
4.5 oz Flank steak
2 cups Broccoli florets
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
0.5 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Arrowroot powder
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.13 tsp Sea salt
0.13 tsp Black pepper
0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
1 cup Cauliflower rice
0.5 tsp Avocado oil
PREPARATION
Slice flank steak against the grain into thin strips and season with sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, toasted sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and arrowroot powder to create the sauce.
Heat 1 teaspoon of avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the beef strips in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes; remove beef from the pan and set aside.
Add the remaining teaspoon of avocado oil to the same pan and sauté the broccoli florets with a splash of water until bright green and tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the pan and pour the sauce over the mixture, tossing constantly until the sauce thickens and coats everything beautifully.
In a separate pan, lightly sauté the cauliflower rice until heated through.
Serve the stir-fry over the cauliflower rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
