Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Oven-roasted salmon glazed with a savory-sweet ginger tamari sauce, served alongside tender asparagus for a crisp and vibrant finish.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1 cup Asparagus spears
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Maple syrup
0.5 tsp Sesame oil
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and place the spears on one side of the baking sheet.
Season the asparagus with the sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, maple syrup, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over the top of the fish.
Roast in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is easily flaked with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
Remove from the oven, drizzle the remaining glaze over the salmon, and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
