Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs using a paper towel for grip, then pat the meat dry.

Rub the spice mixture thoroughly over both sides of the ribs, pressing it into the meat.
Wrap the ribs tightly in the foil, ensuring the seam is on top to prevent juices from leaking, and bake for 2 hours.
While the ribs bake, whisk together the tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, honey, mustard, and chili powder in a small bowl.
Carefully open the foil packet, drain any excess liquid, and brush the homemade BBQ glaze generously over the top of the ribs.
Set the oven to broil and place the ribs back inside for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and slightly charred.
