PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears and place them on one side of the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle 0.25 tablespoons of olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle with half of the sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining olive oil, grated fresh ginger, ground turmeric, and lemon juice until a paste forms.
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and rub the ginger-turmeric paste evenly over the top of the fish.
Place the salmon on the other side of the baking sheet and roast for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
