Teriyaki-Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Oven-roasted salmon fillet brushed with a sticky ginger-tamari glaze, served alongside crisp-tender asparagus for a vibrant and nutrient-dense meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1.5 cup Asparagus
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Honey
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, finely minced ginger, and minced garlic until well combined.
Place the salmon fillet on one side of the prepared baking sheet and arrange the trimmed asparagus spears on the other side.
Drizzle the olive oil over the asparagus and toss lightly to coat, then season both the salmon and asparagus with sea salt and black pepper.
Brush the prepared ginger-tamari glaze generously over the top and sides of the salmon fillet.
Roast in the center of the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle the salmon with sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
