Lemon Herb Grilled Salmon
Wild-caught salmon grilled to flaky perfection with a bright lemon-herb glaze, served alongside charred asparagus spears for a vibrant and zesty finish.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1 cup Asparagus
1 tsp Olive oil
1 tbsp Lemon juice
0.5 tsp Lemon zest
1 tsp Fresh parsley
1 tsp Fresh dill
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your grill or a heavy grill pan over medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and chopped dill to create the glaze.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and season both the salmon and asparagus with sea salt and black pepper.
Brush half of the lemon-herb glaze over the salmon fillet and the asparagus spears.
Place the salmon on the grill skin-side down and arrange the asparagus spears alongside it.
Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 145°F and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
Grill the asparagus for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and show light char marks.
Remove from the heat and drizzle the remaining lemon-herb glaze over the salmon before serving immediately.
