Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the tough, woody ends off the asparagus spears and place them on one side of the baking sheet.
Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and season with sea salt and black pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, honey, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki glaze.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Brush half of the prepared teriyaki glaze generously over the top and sides of the salmon.
Roast in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven, brush the remaining glaze over the warm salmon, and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
