Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and place them in a small mixing bowl.
Stir in the Greek yogurt, 0.5 teaspoon of garam masala, and 0.25 teaspoon of ground turmeric to coat the chicken thoroughly.
Heat the ghee in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the diced yellow onion, minced garlic, and grated fresh ginger to the skillet, sautéing until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes until the pieces are browned on all sides.
Stir in the tomato puree, the remaining garam masala, the remaining ground turmeric, sea salt, and black pepper.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer the sauce for 10 minutes until it has thickened and the chicken is fully cooked.
Place the warm cooked basmati rice in a serving bowl and top with the chicken tikka masala.
Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve immediately.
