Sesame Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed lean beef and crisp broccoli florets are tossed in a savory ginger-garlic sauce to create a vibrant, nutrient-dense meal.
INGREDIENTS
8 oz Grass-fed flank steak
2 cups Broccoli florets
1 tsp Sesame oil
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Water
PREPARATION
Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain and season with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the beef strips to the pan in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes; remove the beef and set aside on a plate.
In the same pan, add the broccoli florets and water, then cover with a lid to steam for 2 minutes until tender-crisp.
Remove the lid and stir in the minced ginger and garlic, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return the beef and any accumulated juices to the pan and pour in the coconut aminos.
Toss all ingredients together for 1 minute until the sauce has slightly thickened and glazed the beef and broccoli.
Transfer to a plate and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
