Pan-Seared Striploin with Garlic Noodles and Broccoli
Pan-seared striploin steak sliced over garlicky soba noodles and vibrant steamed broccoli, finished with a savory tamari glaze.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Striploin steak
1.5 oz Dry soba noodles
1.5 cups Broccoli florets
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Fresh ginger
0.25 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp Tamari
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.25 tsp Avocado oil
PREPARATION
Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the soba noodles according to package directions, then drain.
Season the striploin steak on both sides with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat avocado oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side until your desired doneness is reached.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain.
While the steak rests, steam the broccoli florets until they are tender-crisp and bright green.
In the same skillet used for the steak, lower the heat and add the sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the cooked noodles, steamed broccoli, and tamari to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat in the garlic-ginger oil.
Serve the sliced striploin over the noodle and broccoli mixture.
