Sesame Ginger Chicken Stir-Fry
Sautéed chicken breast strips tossed with crisp snap peas and vibrant peppers in a savory sesame-ginger glaze for a satisfying crunch.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Chicken breast
0.5 tbsp Toasted sesame oil
1 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Red bell pepper
0.5 cup Snap peas
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.5 cup Cooked brown rice
1 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Slice the chicken breast into thin, even strips and season with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken to the skillet and sauté for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside, then add the broccoli, sliced bell peppers, and snap peas to the same pan.
Stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp and bright in color.
Mince the garlic and ginger, then add them to the pan along with the tamari, stirring constantly for 1 minute until fragrant.
Return the chicken to the skillet and toss everything together to coat in the sauce.
Serve the stir-fry over the warm cooked brown rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
