Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Oven-roasted salmon fillet glazed with a savory-sweet ginger tamari sauce, served alongside charred asparagus for a vibrant and satisfying meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Wild-caught salmon fillet
1 cup Asparagus spears
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Sesame oil
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and place the spears on one side of the baking sheet.
Drizzle the asparagus with sesame oil and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, honey, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over the top of the fish.
Roast in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender and slightly charred.
Remove from the oven and brush the remaining glaze over the salmon while it is still hot.
Garnish the entire dish with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately.
