Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a small baking dish with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, almond flour, finely diced onion, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Gently mix the ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Shape the mixture into a compact loaf and place it in the center of the prepared baking dish.
Lay the bacon slices over the top of the loaf, tucking the ends underneath to secure them.
Brush 1 tablespoon of the sugar-free BBQ sauce evenly over the top of the bacon.
Bake for 30 minutes, then remove from the oven and brush the remaining 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce over the loaf.
Return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the glaze is sticky.
Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 minutes before slicing to ensure it stays moist and holds its shape.
