INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon fillet
1 cup Asparagus spears
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Honey
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
0.5 tsp Toasted sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic until the honey is fully incorporated.
Place the asparagus spears on one side of the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the sheet and brush generously with the tamari-ginger glaze.
Roast in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is crisp-tender.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the salmon before serving.
