Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed chicken breast and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory-sweet ginger glaze and served over fluffy white rice.
INGREDIENTS
5.5 oz Chicken breast
1.5 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Cooked white rice
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, minced fresh ginger, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki glaze.
Pat the chicken breast dry with paper towels and cut into bite-sized pieces, then season with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken to the skillet and sauté for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Add the broccoli florets and 1 tablespoon of water to the pan, then cover with a lid for 2 minutes to steam the broccoli until tender-crisp.
Remove the lid and pour the teriyaki glaze over the chicken and broccoli, tossing constantly for 1 minute until the sauce thickens and coats everything beautifully.
Serve the stir-fry immediately over the warm cooked white rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
