Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Oven-roasted salmon fillets glazed with a savory-sweet ginger tamari sauce, served alongside crisp-tender asparagus for a vibrant and nourishing meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1 bunch Asparagus
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
0.5 tsp Grated fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, honey, toasted sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and place them on one side of the baking sheet.
Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and season with sea salt and black pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
Place the salmon fillet on the other side of the baking sheet and brush the top generously with half of the prepared teriyaki glaze.
Roast in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
Remove from the oven, brush the salmon with the remaining glaze, and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
