Sirloin Steak and Cauliflower Stir-Fry
Sizzling sirloin strips and crisp cauliflower florets are wok-seared with earthy mushrooms and onions in a savory, ginger-infused glaze.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Sirloin steak
2 cups Cauliflower florets
1 cup Cremini mushrooms
0.5 cup Yellow onion
2 tsp Avocado oil
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 cloves Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.5 tsp Toasted sesame oil
PREPARATION
Slice the sirloin steak into thin, bite-sized strips and season evenly with the sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until it begins to shimmer.
Add the steak strips in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes until deeply browned, then remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the cauliflower florets, sliced mushrooms, and chopped onions, stir-frying for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for 30-60 seconds until the aroma is released.
Return the steak to the pan, pour in the coconut aminos and toasted sesame oil, and toss everything together for 1 minute to coat and glaze.
