Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks with Marinara
Oven-baked Greek yogurt dough strips topped with a salty parmesan crust, served alongside a vibrant and zesty marinara sauce.
INGREDIENTS
0.5 cup All-purpose flour
0.75 cup Non-fat Greek yogurt
1 large Egg white
2 tbsp Grated parmesan cheese
1.5 oz Shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp Garlic powder
0.5 tsp Dried oregano
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.5 cup Marinara sauce
1 tsp Fresh parsley
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, non-fat Greek yogurt, egg white, garlic powder, and sea salt.
Stir until a dough forms, then turn it onto a clean surface and knead for 1 minute until the dough is smooth.
Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle the dried oregano, grated parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the dough.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are a beautiful golden brown.
While the breadsticks bake, warm the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over low heat until simmering.
Slice the baked dough into strips and garnish with fresh parsley before serving with the warm dipping sauce.
