Teriyaki-Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Oven-roasted salmon fillets brushed with a sticky ginger-garlic glaze and served alongside crisp-tender asparagus for a vibrant, nutrient-dense meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1 cup Asparagus spears
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Honey
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, honey, freshly grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and toss the spears with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper directly on the baking sheet.
Place the salmon fillet on the baking sheet next to the asparagus and brush half of the prepared glaze over the top of the fish.
Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon reaches your desired doneness and the asparagus is tender.
Remove from the oven, brush the remaining glaze over the salmon, and garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
