Sesame Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Tender flank steak and crisp broccoli florets are flash-seared in a savory sesame-ginger glaze for a vibrant, protein-packed meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Flank steak, thinly sliced
2 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Cooked brown rice
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Avocado oil
1 tsp Fresh ginger, minced
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tsp Sesame seeds
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Pat the sliced flank steak dry with a paper towel and season evenly with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the beef to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes until browned, then remove the beef and set aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and a splash of water; cover with a lid for 2 minutes to steam-soften.
Remove the lid and add the minced ginger and garlic, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
Return the beef to the pan and pour in the coconut aminos and toasted sesame oil.
Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the ingredients.
Serve the stir-fry over the warm cooked brown rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
