Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with Sesame Green Beans
Pan-seared salmon fillets glazed in a savory-sweet coconut aminos reduction, served alongside crisp-tender green beans tossed in toasted sesame oil.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1.5 cup Green beans
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Raw honey
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Sesame seeds
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Avocado oil
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season both sides with sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, raw honey, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
Heat the avocado oil in a medium non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon in the skillet skin-side up and sear for 4 minutes until a golden crust forms.
Flip the salmon and pour the prepared glaze into the pan, allowing it to bubble and thicken for 3-4 minutes while spooning the sauce over the fish.
While the salmon finishes, steam the green beans in a steamer basket for 5 minutes until they are bright green and crisp-tender.
Transfer the steamed green beans to a bowl and toss immediately with toasted sesame oil and sesame seeds.
Plate the salmon with the remaining thickened glaze from the pan and serve alongside the sesame green beans.
