Seared Salmon with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared wild salmon fillet served with crisp garlic-infused green beans and nutty brown rice, finished with a squeeze of bright lemon.
INGREDIENTS
6.5 oz Wild Sockeye Salmon Fillet
0.5 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1.5 cups Fresh Green Beans
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Fresh Garlic
PREPARATION
Cook the brown rice according to package instructions until tender.
Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat half of the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 3 minutes until just opaque in the center.
Remove salmon from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the remaining oil and the trimmed green beans.
Sauté the beans for 5 minutes, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
Serve the salmon over the rice with the garlic green beans on the side and a squeeze of fresh lemon.
