Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears and toss them on the baking sheet with half of the olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
Roast the asparagus for 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly charred at the tips.
While the vegetables roast, whisk together the honey, tamari, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl to create the glaze.
Heat the remaining olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the salmon fillet with a tiny pinch of salt and sear it for 3-4 minutes per side until the exterior is golden and the center is just cooked through.
Reduce the skillet heat to low and pour the honey-tamari glaze over the salmon.
Spoon the glaze over the fish for 1 minute until it becomes thick and bubbly, coating the salmon completely.
Plate the glazed salmon immediately alongside the roasted asparagus and drizzle any remaining pan glaze over the top.
