Sautéed lean ground beef and crispy russet potatoes skillet-fried with colorful bell peppers for a savory and satisfying crunch.
INGREDIENTS
0.5 lb 93% Lean Ground Beef
0.5 medium Russet potatoes
0.25 tbsp Avocado oil
0.5 medium Yellow onion
0.5 medium Red bell pepper
0.5 tsp Garlic powder
0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
0.5 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Fresh parsley
PREPARATION
Peel the russet potatoes and dice them into 1/2-inch cubes.
Finely dice the yellow onion and red bell pepper.
Heat the avocado oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the diced potatoes to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.
Push the potatoes to the outer edges of the skillet and add the ground beef to the center.
Break the beef apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
Stir in the diced onion and bell pepper, mixing them with the beef and potatoes.
Season the entire skillet with garlic powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.
Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are soft and the beef is fully cooked.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
