Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the chickpea pasta in a pot of boiling salted water for 2 minutes less than the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil, diced chicken breast, and sliced Spanish chorizo.
Sauté for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is browned and the chorizo has released its aromatic oils.
Add the diced red onion and bell pepper to the skillet, cooking for another 3 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, dried oregano, sea salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until every noodle is thoroughly coated in the sauce.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pasta mixture.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are bubbling.
