Seared Salmon Fillet with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared salmon fillet paired with crisp garlic-scented green beans and nutty brown rice, finished with a squeeze of bright lemon.
INGREDIENTS
7.5 oz Salmon Fillet
0.5 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 cup Green Beans
0.5 tsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
PREPARATION
Cook brown rice according to package instructions or use pre-cooked steamed brown rice.
Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels and season both sides with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a medium non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon in the pan skin-side down and sear for 4 minutes until the skin is golden and crisp.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the desired doneness is reached then remove from the pan.
Add the minced garlic and green beans to the same skillet and sauté for 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Plate the salmon over the brown rice and serve with the garlic green beans and a fresh squeeze of lemon juice.
