Sesame Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed flank steak and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a savory ginger-garlic sauce, served over fluffy white rice for a satisfying and vibrant meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Flank steak
2 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Cooked white rice
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and season with the sea salt and black pepper.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the beef strips to the skillet and sear until browned, approximately 2-3 minutes, then remove the beef and set it aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets with a small splash of water, covering with a lid for 2 minutes to steam until tender-crisp.
Remove the lid and stir in the minced garlic and fresh ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until the aromatics are fragrant.
Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the coconut aminos, tossing all ingredients together for 1 minute to coat thoroughly.
Serve the beef and broccoli stir-fry over the warm cooked white rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
