Pan-Seared Chicken and Sage Butter Gnocchi
Pan-seared chicken and pillowy gnocchi tossed in a fragrant browned sage butter sauce for a savory and comforting meal.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Chicken breast
0.5 cup Potato gnocchi
0.5 tbsp Ghee
6 leaf Fresh sage
1 cup Baby spinach
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Bring a small pot of salted water to a boil and cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float, then drain and set aside.
Season the chicken breast with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until fully cooked, then remove from the pan and slice into strips.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the ghee and fresh sage leaves, stirring until the ghee begins to brown and the sage becomes crisp.
Add the minced garlic and baby spinach to the skillet, sautéing for 1 minute until the spinach is wilted.
Toss the cooked gnocchi and sliced chicken back into the skillet, coating everything thoroughly in the sage butter.
Serve immediately topped with a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese.
