Garlic Ground Chicken and Broccoli Stir-Fry
Sautéed ground chicken and crisp broccoli florets tossed in a fragrant garlic-ginger sauce for a savory and satisfying meal.
INGREDIENTS
8 oz Ground chicken (93% lean)
2 cups Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Yellow onion
3 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Olive oil
2 tbsp Coconut aminos
1 tsp Fresh ginger
0.5 tsp Toasted sesame oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the diced yellow onion to the pan and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until it becomes translucent and soft.
Add the ground chicken to the skillet along with the sea salt and black pepper, breaking the meat into small crumbles with a spatula as it browns.
Once the chicken is mostly cooked through, stir in the minced garlic and grated fresh ginger, cooking for about 1 minute until highly aromatic.
Toss in the broccoli florets and pour the coconut aminos over the mixture, then cover the pan with a lid for 2 to 3 minutes to steam the broccoli until it is tender-crisp.
Remove the lid and stir-fry everything together for another minute to allow the sauce to coat every piece evenly.
Turn off the heat and drizzle the toasted sesame oil over the dish before serving warm.
