Spicy Gochujang Chicken Stir-Fry
Sautéed chicken breast tossed in a vibrant, spicy gochujang glaze with crisp bell peppers and broccoli for a satisfying, savory crunch.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Chicken breast
1.5 tbsp Gochujang paste
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Honey
1 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Sliced red bell pepper
2 clove Garlic
1 tsp Grated fresh ginger
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Dice the chicken breast into 1-inch cubes and season with sea salt and black pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang paste, tamari, honey, and grated ginger to create the sauce.
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken to the skillet and sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
Add the broccoli florets and sliced red bell peppers to the same skillet, adding a splash of water if needed to steam-fry until tender-crisp.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Return the chicken to the skillet and pour the gochujang sauce over the mixture.
Toss everything together for 1 to 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly.
Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
