Air-fried chicken bites tossed in a vibrant, spicy-sweet gochujang glaze and served alongside tender steamed broccoli for a satisfying crunch.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Chicken breast
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1.5 tbsp Gochujang
1 tbsp Tamari
0.5 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 cup Broccoli florets
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with sea salt and black pepper.
Toss the chicken in cornstarch until each piece is evenly coated.
Place chicken in an air fryer at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
In a small pan over low heat, whisk together gochujang, tamari, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until the sauce is bubbling.
Steam the broccoli florets in a steamer basket for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Toss the crispy chicken in the warm gochujang sauce until fully glazed.
Serve the popcorn chicken immediately alongside the steamed broccoli.
