Organic Firm Tofu Stir-Fry
Sautéed organic tofu and crisp vegetables tossed in a savory ginger-tamari glaze, offering a vibrant and satisfying crunch in every bite.
INGREDIENTS
12 oz Organic firm tofu
0.5 cup Shelled edamame
1 cup Broccoli florets
0.5 cup Sliced red bell pepper
1 tbsp Nutritional yeast
1 tsp Toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp Tamari
1 tsp Grated fresh ginger
1 clove Minced garlic
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
PREPARATION
Drain the organic firm tofu and press it between paper towels for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.
Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes and toss them in a bowl with nutritional yeast, sea salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Heat the toasted sesame oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the tofu cubes to the skillet and sear for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until all sides are golden brown and slightly crispy.
Add the broccoli florets, sliced red bell pepper, and shelled edamame to the pan, sautéing for an additional 4-5 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic and grated fresh ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour the tamari over the mixture and toss everything together for 2 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp and the sauce is well-distributed.
Remove from heat and serve immediately in a shallow bowl.
