Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with Roasted Asparagus
Oven-roasted salmon fillets glazed in a savory-sweet ginger sauce, served alongside crisp-tender asparagus spears for a vibrant and nourishing meal.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon fillet
1 cup Asparagus spears
1 tbsp Coconut aminos
0.5 tbsp Maple syrup
0.5 tsp Fresh ginger
1 clove Garlic
0.5 tbsp Olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, maple syrup, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki glaze.
Place the trimmed asparagus spears on one half of the prepared baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with sea salt and black pepper.
Place the salmon fillet on the other half of the baking sheet and brush the top generously with the teriyaki glaze.
Roast in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the salmon with sesame seeds before serving immediately.
