Seared Salmon Fillet with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Pan-seared salmon fillet served with garlic-sautéed green beans and fluffy brown rice, finished with a squeeze of bright, zesty lemon.
INGREDIENTS
7 ounces Wild Atlantic Salmon Fillet
1/2 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 cup Fresh Green Beans
1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Fresh Garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
PREPARATION
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with half of the olive oil.
Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper then place it skin-side down in the pan.
Sear the salmon for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crisp then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until opaque.
Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside.
Add the remaining oil to the skillet along with the green beans and minced garlic.
Sauté the green beans for 5-6 minutes until tender-crisp and fragrant.
Plate the salmon and green beans over a bed of warm brown rice and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
