Seared Salmon Fillet with Roasted Asparagus
Pan-seared wild salmon served with oven-roasted asparagus and fresh lemon, finished with a sprinkle of crunchy flaky sea salt.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Wild Salmon Fillet
150g Asparagus Spears
1.5 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Toss the asparagus spears with half of the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper on a large baking sheet.
Roast the asparagus for 12-15 minutes until they are tender-crisp and slightly browned.
While the asparagus roasts, pat the salmon fillet dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat the remaining olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon in the pan skin-side up and sear for 4 minutes until a golden crust forms.
Flip the fillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Plate the salmon alongside the roasted asparagus and finish with a fresh squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of flaky sea salt.
