Sticky BBQ Baby Back Ribs
Slow-roasted baby back ribs glazed with a date-sweetened BBQ sauce, served with crisp-tender green beans for a smoky and satisfying meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Baby back pork ribs
0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
0.25 tsp Onion powder
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Date-sweetened BBQ sauce
1 cup Green beans
0.25 tsp Olive oil
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
Remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs and pat the meat dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
Rub the spice blend thoroughly onto both sides of the ribs.
Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until the meat is very tender.
Carefully open the foil and brush the top of the ribs with the date-sweetened BBQ sauce.
Set the oven to broil and place the ribs back in for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is sticky and slightly charred.
While the ribs rest, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the green beans until they are bright green and crisp-tender.
Slice the ribs between the bones and serve immediately with the green beans.
