Stir in the minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and dried thyme, cooking for one minute until highly fragrant.
Add the cooked white basmati rice and the chicken broth to the pan, stirring well to combine all ingredients.
Return the chicken to the skillet, reduce the heat to low, and cover with a lid.
Simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the broth to be absorbed by the rice.
Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
