Seared Steak and Tuna Rice Bowl
Sautéed sirloin and flaky tuna are served over fluffy white rice with a jammy soft-boiled egg and crisp cucumber slices for a refreshing crunch.
INGREDIENTS
3 oz Sirloin steak
2 oz Canned tuna
1 large Egg
0.5 cup Cooked white rice
0.5 cup Cucumber
0.5 oz Feta cheese
1 tsp Olive oil
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Coconut aminos
PREPARATION
Bring a small pot of water to a boil, carefully lower the egg into the water, and simmer for 6.5 minutes for a jammy yolk.
Immediately transfer the egg to an ice bath to stop the cooking, then peel and halve it.
Season the sirloin steak with sea salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side until medium-rare.
Remove the steak from the heat, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice it into thin strips.
Place the warm cooked rice in a bowl and drizzle with coconut aminos.
Arrange the sliced steak, drained tuna, sliced cucumber, and halved egg over the rice.
Crumble the feta cheese over the top before serving.
