Seared Steak & Burrata Salad Bowl
Pan-seared grass-fed sirloin strips served over a bed of peppery arugula with creamy burrata cheese and blistered balsamic tomatoes.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Grass-fed top sirloin steak
1 oz Burrata cheese
2 cup Baby arugula
0.5 cup Cherry tomatoes
1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
0.25 tsp Sea salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.25 tsp Garlic powder
PREPARATION
Season the sirloin steak on both sides with sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil to coat the surface.
Sear the steak for 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium-rare, then remove from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes.
While the steak rests, add the cherry tomatoes to the hot skillet and sauté for 2 minutes until the skins begin to blister.
Slice the rested steak into thin strips against the grain.
Place the baby arugula in a large bowl, top with the sliced steak and blistered tomatoes, then nestle the burrata cheese in the center.
Break the burrata open slightly with a fork and drizzle the entire bowl with balsamic vinegar before serving.
